Hi Libby - recommend you use WLED if you want to control LEDs. It's by far the easiest to use and configure. You can get custom boards with it pre-programmed too - Drzzs is a good resource - https://drzzs.com

I am so going to make this...but I might mill the key caps out of 1/8" 6061 T6 instead since my laser is weak sauce and would take like 20 passes to cut through veneer
