That's because years earlier after I blew up in the news again, the Kent County prosecutor announced he wouldn't charge predators from citizen stings anymore. Fast forward to present day and Omma busts the same sexual predator again but this time in a jurisdiction where charges would be secured.

It kinda bothers me to see people in the comments you were reading questioning who turned the conversation sexual first, as if it exonerates the predator if the predator catcher says it first. I understand and agree that it’s a good idea to wait for the predator to reveal themselves (no pun intended) and establish their intent, plus it probably gives defense attorneys less to work with. The thing is, actual 12-13 year old kids do often make/laugh at dirty jokes with their peers. “Lololol, boner!” kind of humor. If they joke around like that with an adult, yes it’s inappropriate and they shouldn’t do that, but they’re kids and they do immature stuff. The adult is still responsible for how they react. TLDR: If people want to blame the predator catcher for how the conversation plays out, they’d probably blame an underage kid, too.
