Age-Restricted video
🕑 Added 2021-04-16 15:17:18 +0000 UTCHi everyone, following up on yesterday's post about how YouTube is actively working against my channel, and much of independent media, I have another example to show you what I'm constantly up against.
YouTube has age-restricted my most recent video, despite the fact that every other YouTube video I've come across with the same footage is not age-restricted. I purposely paused the clip of the shooting in my video before anything graphic was shown to try and avoid this so that more people can see the breakdown.
Age-restricted videos aren't shareable, and are never put into the suggested video rotation - meaning unless you are actually on my channel's homepage you will not see it. The impact of this of course is that less people actually get to see my breakdown of the event.
Adding to the absurdity of this, the video was APPROVED for monetization after a human review:

Keep up the great reporting David, youβre one of the only good sources many times. I feel like TYT has gotten more chatty and less content in the past year - and msnbc is a joke. I believe a group of people may be purposely following you to flag you...no matter how ridiculous. I see that with movies...Alt. right Christians giving low ratings to evolution documentaries, when other ratings are high. As well as movies with alternate gender influences and other subject matter. Itβs so obvious. If various church groups across the nation share this behavior then thatβs a substantial group. Of course Iβm prone to be suspicious in this day and age.
