Drag queens are actors in costume. Similar to clown show actors, just not as scary. I'm much more comfortable with drag show story hour than Christian Nation story hour, or the preachings of bad actors like Ron DeSantis, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and the like. On a side note, one of my favorite videos shows the proper response to buttheads like the Proud Boys, "Pride Boys"? In that video a handful of twits in camo garb walked down the middle of the street carrying assault style rifles. The townsfolk on the sidewalks just looked at the "big bad men" like they were trash and then went about their way. There's no better way to say "You look ridiculous".
Drag queens in the library are men dressed in elaborate clothes and make up telling stories in an exaggerated way. That is it. I have anger issues when it comes to this kind of stupidity. Then she said oh well they dress in banana hammocks. I told her that does not happen at children's story hour. And does not have any thing to do with drag to start with. LOL, I get worked up just thinking about this.
