Hello there, Johannes! To answer your first question—yes, we definitely plan to create more quick painting videos in the future. As for your second question, the underpainting you choose for your project should depend on various factors and the desired final effect. It can be, as you mentioned, based on contrasting colors, or it could reflect the shade and light ambiance you want to convey. It might also serve as the main color of the piece (for example, setting the overall mood or "vibe color"). Additionally, it could be a tone that harmonizes all other colors in the composition. The darker your underpainting base, the more it influences the overall palette, resulting in a deeper, richer tone. Conversely, a brighter underpainting will create a lighter and more vibrant color palette. The same principle applies to warm vs. cool palettes—your choice of base will help establish the overall atmosphere. Hello, first of all thanks for the great video, I'm kinda new (well I was here before, but feels like I didn't pay much attention), I wanna ask 2 questions; 1: Do you plan to do any more of these 'quick paint' videos for us? Like if we want to use use this excellent display level painting (or somewhere between) for armies (maybe not 10's of thousands.. hopefully :P ) or is this (like it seems), more of a pay attention to this video to this kind of thing if you want to paint armies in this style? 2. Not neccesarly for this (and feel free to reference other video you mention this) but how do you think of colours for basing? Is it mainly contrasting colour or any other thinking? Although in this it was of course also the yellow light coming down. Hopefully this wasn't a mess to read
