Hello there, yes. For metals green gray was used in a mix with Vanilla White.:) Best, Aleksandra and Marko

Peter G

is the green grey in this tutorial lightened with vanilla white or similar?

Hi Daniel, There are no additional guides beyond what's available. We have a video tutorial for the Heavy Infantry and this PDF for Yeoman Milunka. However, with these resources and the other lessons available, we believe you’ll find plenty of inspiration to apply to all other characters and factions. We hope it will be helpful! Great work. I love the tones. Is there a guide for the third infantryman with the more plate armour and his hand up?

Craftworld Studio

Hello Frank, Thank you! Zenithal priming is a great tool for helping with initial volume sketching. We typically use it when aiming for more saturation in the highlights. However, for these pieces, Marko focused on creating a grim ambiance. A desaturated palette played a significant role in achieving that mood. :) Best regards, Aleksandra and Marko

Great tutorial again! Can I ask why you didn't use a zenithal priming for these minis?

Craftworld Studio

Thank you. It is more intuitive add on. But you can always thinking of color variations. If you have red in underpainting, it is not simply one tone. It can go from purple to orange. Also, when it comes to nmm, additional reflections are always great to add more contrast and interest. :)

Just fantastic. Question: in the bonus SBS, the helmet has some bright red and yellow reflections that add some amazing vibrancy. They aren't part of the underpainting, nor the highlight colors shown. Is there rhyme or reason to that choice? It looks amazing
