Another minor post
🕑 Added 2023-09-20 05:30:47 +0000 UTCI has come to my attention I am losing Patrons monthly and currently in the low single digits. Not gonna lie, it really discourages for me to progress.
I've been thinking to myself, should I keep moving forward or should I just quit completely and vanish? What should I do? What/where did I do wrong? Or am I overthinking and I should just do what I feel like doing?

I feel your pain Claire. While our situations differ, I empathize with what you're dealing with..one thing I did read that helps when people are getting started on Patreon is to make it more enticing by offering multiple tiers. I don't know the psychology behind why that changes anything, but perhaps it somehow entices patrons to buy into the higher tiers bc they feel more exclusive? i dunno. It's also hard to promote patreon on platforms like X bc those posts are immediately downranked bc Elon Musk is a fuckin douchebag who hates artists. I wish I could have more useful suggestions but no...you aren't doing anything wrong. I suggest, so long as it is not negatively affecting your life, workflow, time commitment that you continue so long as it continues to interest and excite you

I’m a huge fan of yours and feel it would be a massive shame if you stopped doing Patreon. At the end of the day you have to do what makes you happiest. I’m subbed to quite a few pages on Patreon but out of them yours and Hamzaas are by far my favourite. I have no idea why people are leaving other than times are getting tougher.
