Reminder to set maximum post limits you want to pay for
🕑 Added 2023-09-25 15:12:59 +0000 UTCAfter a dearth of videos i'm posting 5 videos this month and charging 3 of them to patreon. So if you have no post limits you'll be charged 3 times. If you just want to pay for 1 or 2 per month please go into your patreon settings to set a maximum. I'm going to post the last video on saturday. I want everyone to be happy with their contributions even if its only once a month.
Also a reminder that if you would like a refund for anything send me a message and i'll give it no questions asked. I understand sometimes personal finances are rough or maybe a video i made isn't what you were hoping for, no hard feelings.
I think patreon is already going to charge for 2 videos if you don't already have a maximum limit set, changes are not retroactive, so ask me for a refund if you need it.
Anyway, thanks again for being my patrons, and standing by me through my dark times. As you might have noticed I'm having a brief period of lucidity. I hope to capitalize on it before i fall back into the pit. It will happen, so might as well make the most of the time I'm out.

1) Not really, I'm extremely erratic with my posting due to severe mental health issues. Entirely my fault. And while i'm here now, i'll likely fall back into the pit at some point in the future. So i'm going to produce some videos now while i'm lucid enough to do so. 2) Not really sure. My immediate videos are to post the permanganate stuff. My immediate plans are to attempt sodium nitrite synthesis. Copper electroplating and additive synthesis, and maybe a few procedural videos like red fuming nitric acid, sulfuric acid distillation with better equipment, and maybe sulfur trioxide or oleum preparation. Beyond that i'm not sure if i'll still be out of the pit. If i am, maybe i'll try copper electroforming. My long term projects include synthesis of gasoline. But i've been planning that for years, i never seem to get enough stability to do it. 3) Very unlikely. cracking requires specialized equipment not easily accessible for the amateur. And considering petroleum products like diesel, gasoline, naptha, etc. are very easy to acquire, there isn't much desire to make them the hard way.

NurdRage: You were gone a long time, and I am excited that you've returned. Questions: 1) Were you gone because of YouTube policy yutz? 2) Will we see any more "exciting" stuff beyond making nitric acid? (sorry for being blunt) 3) Have you considered doing a petroleum cracking vid?
