Forflor Status Update - February
🕑 Added 2016-02-01 05:49:12 +0000 UTC Hi all! Time for another little update as to what I've been doing!Well: a lot of work.
You've probably noticed it's been pinup sets and single page sketch comics since Something Greater ended. I mean, I said it was going to be like that, and that's for good reason - I've been entirely swamped with work for my clean Floraverse comic. The current arc there is coming to a close within the next month and a half, and I've been trying to bring m A-game to the table. Pinups take waaaay less time. Plus, I want to do a really good job with Ch3 of Beleth's sexy misadventures, and I don't want to be distracted by my other work.
Let me tell you this, though! The draft planning for Ch3 is coming out really well. I have something like 40 pages of drafted comic ideas and sketch notes and dialog for it, and it's really fun and ridiculous. I expect the chapter will be something like... well, 40 pages long. I'm going to GUESS that I'll be able to start it in March. My previous guess was February, but TTA is taking longer than I thought. If it really will be until March that I start the comic, I'll probably do a tiny 4-5 page sketchy color comic with some other characters, because I do get a little bored ONLY doing pinups. I mean, I love pinups, but comics are my favorite! I won't have a lot of time for something really nice and refined, but I definitely do want to do like... something. I'll figure it out later.
You guys can feel free to like, throw suggestions at me, too, for characters you'd like to see in a 5-6 page thing. Suggestions for characters and kinks are totally welcome here. No guarantees that I'll be able to use them, but I really like reading people's thoughts to get my gears turning! Last time I did end up using a couple of the characters people suggested in the pinups I did during the month. Hopefully that can happen this time, too!

Ideas for mini comics: Scenario: a pair of friends having an in-depth conversation (probably over a compact) about their thoughts on why either they enjoy certain fetishy things, or why they think people enjoy certain fetishy in an attempt to understand it better. Lots of possibilities here! You have room for lots of dialogue featuring exploration of relevant/interesting topics. ("Why do people even get off on feet, lawl?" "What even is inflation?" "Tentacles? Whut?" "Well, here's one way of looking at it...") In discussing these examples, a character could posit a scenario and part of the art in the comic can be a pinuppy type thing demonstrating the scenario, since those are much easier to do. Hell, an "erotic diagram" permits for playing around with less-intensive art styles too. If it is over a compact, a lot of space can be filled with the scenery around one of the participants, and a smaller image of the other participant can be on the compact screen, permitting less detailed rendering of the character without sacrificing dialogue/expression, etc--webcam type things you often only see shoulders and face anyway. The conversations could eventually take a more directly erotic turn with participants touching themselves and having things culminate in "mutual masturbation," or a demonstration of how erotic the subject of the conversation can be, etc etc. This would work well either over compact or in person. Or the example scenarios can be the erotic climax (ha) and the end of the comic can be more wrap-up. But yeah, this kind of comic would be dialogue/facial expression heavy, full-body-light, and permits and justifies less detailed renderings, save for a few climactic moments that are basically standard pinups. It also presents some opportunities for community engagement too, where the question of "for you people who like X fetish, what do you like most about it? WHY do you like it?" can be posited to forflor followers. For those kinds of questons, I have so much material because I'm the kind of dork that is endlessly fascinated by the smutty, so if you did want to go with this, and wanted thoughts/explanations for certain kinks, I've probably got several small essays' worth of ideas on a lot of 'em, both common and obscure. So that's my contribution to suggestion pool. I hope it proves useful, and if not, hey, thanks still for continuing to share awesome art with everyone. :D
