Hello Jazzinald! I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for being so supportive. I hope you don't mind, but I have named the Sergeant after you. Is that OK?

Loved the chapter!

TheLost

wait so he is hiding in her basement? that's scary

The Lost Pages

In a lot of ways this story reminds me of the guy in wow who spent years leveling to max by only picking herbs.

The Lost Pages

Love the changes. I would suggest not making him the "only" new play style. But the only pacifist playstyle. That will leave your options open for other interesting players later.

Thank you for your feedback, Colin! :D

Beeees!

Ooh, I think all these changes are good and make sense. Tftc and all your hard work making a great and engaging story, and for reducing Patreon spam haha. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more!

SPOILER ALERT: - Instead of referring to how much pain exactly Roth feels, the novel only mentions that the pain settings have been locked at their maximum setting. - Loki is shown as being more powerful. He has shares in the gaming pod industry. That's how he manages to hack one. He also has agents inside Nexus, Roth's prison, the government, etc... The only thing he can't infiltrate is the inner workings of the AstroTerra game itself. He could have killed Roth and his family at any time but chose not to because AVR allows him to kill Roth as many times as he wants. - The IronIre squad is no longer shown as a bunch of fiends with no conscience. They are people who've been forced to do what they did to Roth by Loki. At least some of them know that Loki plans to discard them but has no choice but to follow through with his manipulations. Otherwise, he'll target their families. - I have dropped the whole 'prisons are their own thing.' Mrs. Bessie actively tries to know more about her son but is constantly blocked by Loki's goons. - I'm trying to make it so it doesn't sound like the AI is giving Roth preferential treatment. I no longer talk about AI or praise it as being god-like. I make more references to developers, systems, programming, etc... In a society that is even more desensitized to violence than ours, the idea is that Roth is the only one who bothers to explore a new way of playing and is rewarded for his alternative playstyle. I'm aware that the idea hasn't come across so well yet, but I'm still rewriting and refining things as I'm able.
