Ranma getting some special machine work done, oh dear.

So Ranma-chan (and his/her Mom) having very light and fair skin makes some real world sense.

Fun fact about that actually. The same genes that give people red hair, also have to do with how much melatonin (that's the hormone that deals with skin pigmentation. The more melatonin in your skin the darker it is) goes in the skin. specifically people with red hair almost always have very low levels of melatonin and as such pale skin, and likely freckles as well.

Well, it was a bit more complex than just liking the color combo I'll admit; it actually started as a result of being annoyed with Ranma-kuns skin being arbitrarily darker than Ranma-chans. Predictably I wildly overcompensated, and here we are.

Dude, Darkskinned ranma is great! if your still feeling good about drawing her like that, then keep going. But if you feel like you should draw her differently then, do you dude.

Nothing necessarily wrong with it, it's just such a departure from how Ranma looks in Cannon I was wondering what your thought process was behind it

mostly because I like the red-hair heavy tan combo, but I suppose I should probably cut it out I guess
Thomas
Okay this has been bugging me for the longest time. Why do you color Ranma with such tanned skin?

such beautiful red hair and shading <3
