I did not know I wanted- no, needed a spiritual fusion of Worm and Madoka Magica into a single coherent work. I did not think one could quick so seamlessly create a world that somehow makes more sense than either separately while carrying the spirit of both. God, this is some seriously hype shit. I had actual chills reading some parts, and wet eyes more than once. Mai's incredulity at having unlocked Fallout gun physics was very funny also lmao. I have to hope that Mai gets out of the situation on her own first, or takes care of it. Like hatching an egg, if the pressure comes from the outside it will probably kill the life within. But if the pressure comes from the inside, as we are seeing in the letter in this chapter, it hatches into a new life. A new life that in Mai's case will most probably be so much stronger than the previous life.

Always brutal to get these glimpses into Mai's home life, but I'm glad she's getting a bit better? I'm worried though about the next time she goes back home, could get really dark and she could regress a lot. Hoping that the Magical Girls will nail the dad to the wall for child abuse now that they know what's going on
