The only Champion I know of is in the Whateley Academy universe of stories. An Avatar class Hero that embodied the Spirit of the Champion Force. At one point one of the Original Champion's sidekicks/ward grew up and replaced him (posthumously) for a while as Miss Champion/Lady Champion. My memory isnt the best and there may be other heroes out there called Champion in other universes that I dont remember.

That makes my heart glad too. I always thought that Canary got railroaded awfully fast to the Birdcage in Worm. Canary was a victim, and if an unpowered woman reacted in the same way they would have gotten all the mercy and probably never have been charged.

Loving this story so far. The Worm universe is great, but the main story is pretty... dark. Fun to see it in a bit more hopeful light (although still pretty dark). Already some changes huh? Triumvirate has someone named Champion and Canary didn't get screwed over by the justice system.
