What colors do you think work best?

I was just going to start painting in the first colors that came into my head. Since they're not super clear and I'm not super excited about them, I did some color tests in Photoshop with the photo of the painting in its current state. Five is the most alike to what I originally thought, but now 2 & 1 are starting to speak to me, especially with the blending between the two. I didn't want to spend forever on this so you can also comment on what would blend well together, or if all of these are garbage.

yeah that is the realm this would work well in, isn't it? I'm trying to decide what the base emotion is.

2 and 4 give me late 80's death metal album cover art vibes.

TIL The answer for hot pink in oil pigments is alizarin crimson with white.

That one really struck me to when I made it, maybe I need to do one more variation of it. I didn't stop to think if I even have that pigment tho.

Really loving that pink. Maybe with some non-flourescent bit of colors to make it look like it's rearing at some hot pink flash and not just a risograph that ran out of CY&K.
