Just watched Highlander!!! SO HAPPY

I was planning on watching yesterday, but didn't have the time...now, I'm already planning on putting it on again tonight or tomorrow. It's going to be a terrific re-watch, countless times.

I LOVE it. While editing, I cried every time the scene with Heather dying came up. EVERY TIME. That song and scene with them beforehand is PERFECT. *sigh* A beautiful and FUN movie!

I did want to get this out there right away as she has, in her brief history on here, moved on to sequels right away when she likes something. Wanted to get ahead of that. Fully respect your thoughts to keep the tone/mood positive though.

I agree. But didn’t want to DAMPEN your mood just yet- that of enjoying Highlander1 so much. I’ll just put it this way, they lost their goddamn minds for Highlander2 (in the worst ways). Ultimate facepalm...

Please do yourself a favour though and leave it at that. This is one of those cases where the sequels are not only not nearly as good, they actually detract from the original for many people. Just like the movie says. "There can be only one".
