I think that The Void is the better episode over Night. Although Night is our introduction to Captain Proton. There is way more going on in The Void vs Night. I think Night the passing of the episode is slower where as The Void the passing is pretty good. I never caught that Harry’s doing in Night Is titled The Void.

The void is in my top 10 episodes of Star Trek Voyager. I enjoy the fact that it feels the most like classic Trek in forming Alliances. It was not until I saw the special features that I learned that the actor Jonathan Del Arco who portrayed Hugh was the same action portraying Fantome

Garon and his buddies stole those outfits from the Hunters of Tosk who were on the DS9 episode "Captive Pursuit". My favorites are Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999 and Babylon 5. When I was a child and didn't know any better I liked Lost in Space but as an adult when going to rewatch discovered it is a kids a show and nothing more. As SciFi, it is cold trash. It is amazing watching yall read and answer some these "questions" with a straight face without laughing such as the one about Janeway leaving the other ships and capital punishment.

I'm rewatching the Void after seeing the podcast, and I can't for the life of me find the shot of Tom's amazing evasive pattern Beta 6 during the scene where they're attack after initially entering the void. This is making me wonder if perhaps the version of this episode on Netflix in the UK is different from the one available in the US. Anyone else notice this or am I just crazy? I could just be crazy....

I don't get it. Fantôme's people aren't barbarians or uncultured rubes. They just don't have vocal cords, so they don't speak. It was even said that they already likely have their own language and communication; they just liked using the sounds more. But to suggest they should be naked or idolize the EMH doesn't make sense. They obviously have intelligence and a culture - they freaking knew how to disable starships! Their clothes had no colour because the void has no colour. The species evolved in the void so there would be no need for coloured clothing.

You could technically argue the Marquis and Starfleet "teamed up" after "Caretaker" they were enemies, effectively and became one crew albeit with a few hiccups along the way. And for...about 5 minutes, an alliance with the borg....then peace with 8472 - and shows off Janeway's diplomacy skills yet again.
