Just a note on this one - not just the Captain, and the Emergency Command Hologram have the ability to eject the warp core - Torres as the Head of Engineering also has the command authorisation to eject the warp corp - they did so in the season 4 episode "Day of Honor"

Tom caught on to the Doctor's feelings for Seven during "Someone to Watch Over Me". Tom has been in tbe Captain's chair before. The Doctor has a big part in tbe finale. He delivers the baby!

Very fun episode but I struggle with the placement. He defied Capt Janeway in Season 7 Ep 9 & 10, was humble about making that error in Ep 20 (Author Author), and then turns around and is arrogant again in this episode, and defies orders. Again. As much as I enjoyed the ‘family’ gathering to make sure the Doc was okay, it just seems like the same plot (Doc is arrogant, makes an error, is forced to eat humble pie) was done three times this year. I would have ‘wrapped’ the Doc with ‘Author Author’. That aside, I agree with all the praise on the acting and the the production. It was well executed. And every Trek series up to this point has it’s ‘Outsider Superman’. TOS had Spock TNG had Data DS9 had Odo Voyager had first the Doc and then Seven as a bonus. Each show had at least one episode where the character completely overwhelms the rest of the main cast by going rogue. In this case, I think Doc does need restrictions on his ability to reprogram himself. He shouldn’t be able to activate the ECH on his own. There needs to be a ‘two person’ rule unless all members of the crew are gone or disabled. And no one should be able to tinker with his program without his consent except the Capt and the Chief Engineer. Failsafes need to be put in place. And as I said before, he needs to go through a Star Fleet Training course (not just uploaded) taught by Janeway/Tuvok/Chakotay so that the moral and ethical training is adsorbed effectively. Socializing: I agree with Robbie on distancing but there are some exceptions. The Capt should be able to platonically socialize with her Second in Command (makes good teamwork), the Doctor (usually treated differently than standard crew), civilians, and Tuvok (based on long-standing relationship and 2nd officer status). Junior officers and regular crew is naturally limited. But the others either have no rank or their position is already near the top. Finally, although not shown, during Resolutions, I’m sure Tom had bridge command duty as he was the first officer.

Janwaydoc sets up a dampening field (level 5) around the morgue - and then beams in Chakotay. Isn't a dampening field preventing beaming?

Oh dear god. I just realised that the Delta Flyer was a reference to them being in the Delta Quadrant! I always just thought it was because it's kind of triangular in shape! Extreme Risk was the 3rd episode of season 5... So that's what? 1999? 24 years? Watching Voyager nearly every day all that time... Holy crap. 🤯 How stupid am I?!?! 😆🤦🏼‍♀️ I get not figuring it out now, but I was a smart kid back then... A smart kid whose mental health wasn't a million miles away from B'Elanna's in that season, though, so maybe that clouded my brain...

I’m wondering too what comes next

I still hope for a „Let’s Play Star Trek Voyager Elite Force“ (+ expansion pack) with the two of you once the final episode of Voyager is over. 🥰 You could also take a look at RPG-X and various stuff based on that game 😊👍

As (the) Endgame draws nigh I just want to say that, as many times as I've watched Trek, both of you fellow fans have made me look at it with new eyes. Thank you, and I hope there's more coming.

The strike asks SAG members to not promote current or past work as actors. So, because our podcast directly promotes a show (Star Trek) that was made by one of the studios that SAG is striking, Garrett and Robbie can no longer make new content that relates to Trek. But, we are still able to put out content that was recorded prior to the Strike.

S Myran

Why does it matter that this was recorded before the strike? Isn't Patreon an alternate way for artists to be paid that doesn't rely on giant corporations? I'm so confused. Can someone help me out?

Robbie models a wonderful new shirt I don't yet have one, that makes me hurt but take heed, it will be in the store That excites me to the core The shirt shall be pristine and never encounter dirt!

Garrett

We've had the shirts in the store for awhile, but took them down as we are taking them to Vegas so Garrett can sell them at the convention there. They'll be back in the online store in about a week or so!

Peggy

New tshirts! I can’t wait till they’re in the store, hopefully tomorrow!
