I have two cats who will be 4 years old in the spring and their names are Kang and Koloth. Originally I was fostering them for six months because they had to be under medical quarantine, but I fell in love. They are not well named, but I love their names anyway. They were born in the wild so I got them at 8 weeks old and they were completely terrified of humans. My dad jokingly called them "Chill" and "Nasty" because Koloth would freeze up, but Kang attacked anything that came near him. Koloth is a foodie, so he warmed up to me after a couple of weeks, but Kang is not a foodie, so he took a few months to decide that I'm not a threat. Now they are both super sweet and affectionate, but only to me. Koloth has finally gotten to the point where he will sit on the stairs and observe when visitors are here, but he always stays out of reach. Kang bolts pretty quickly at any knock at the door, but has warmed up to my brother, who visits a few times a year. There were three other kittens in their litter plus their mom and a male cat that we trapped at the same time as Kang and Koloth, but sadly, the others all had medical issues that made euthanasia the best choice for them. We didn't name them, but I tend to think of the other three kittens collectively as "Kor." Koloth is a huge fluffy black cat. Kang is almost as big as Koloth, but he is long and slender with short black hair. I think he looks like a statue of an Egyptian cat god. Spay and neuter your pets. (Kang and Koloth's parents were wild cats, so they didn't have an owner to spay or neuter them, but I always remind people anyway. Additionally, there are many people like myself who trap wild and stray cats, have them spayed/neutered and try to domesticate them or release them.)

It’s a missed opportunity that the storyline ended here. Dax disregarded Sisko’s orders and aided in the murder of the Albino. In the end there should have been some consequences. A two parter where she gets taken into custody upon return and then has to prove her ability to return to duties would have been cool. How do you navigate a court where it’s a crime in one culture but not the other?

Terry calls him that sometimes. 😊

Ratings Terry: 10 Garret: 7.0 (due to being "unbalanced" with no B-story) Robbie: 7.2 (also due to weak B-story) Patreon Fans: 7.7 Robbie got closest this time. Terry's score is influenced by it being an episode with her at the center.

"GaWa", interesting

Also it's weirdly hilarious to me that this is the first time Terry and Robbie realized their characters both married Klingons. 😆

I agree with Terry on the DAX, Kira relationship 100%… Too bad they were afraid of two strong female characters having a dialogue and a friendship.

No Quentin Tarantino in Star Trek ever!!!!

Extremely demented serving heart conversation.

Music nerd nitpick department! The tune Robbie sang is Ride of the Vakyries from Wagner's opera Die Walkürie. It's one of the operas in his Ring Cycle. Gotterdämmerung, the one Garrett said Rick Kolbe was playing, is a different opera in the Ring Cycle. (Sorry, I just can't help myself!) Also glad GaWa corrected his pronunciation of Wagner so I don't have to nitpick that too. 😊 Love this podcast, y'all! I'm all caught up now and am sad that I have to wait for future episodes, sigh.
