I have TWO releases for you today, first there is another suprise from my Holiday Calendar, which is an actual in-game advent calendar, you can get it here! ❄️
And now, I'm happy to announce the return of ROYAL CASINO, which is also getting its 2.0 update! I've been working on this mod update for weeks, and I'm happy to finally be done! Let’s take a look together at what’s new and how it works!
What is Royal Casino?
Royal Casino is a Mod Kit I created a few years ago, allowing your Sims to play and try their luck at a French Riviera-inspired casino! It features a brand-new Super Jackpot Slot Machine 🎰
Play the Slot Machines
Try your luck with the slot machines and aim to win SIMOLEONS! There are three different slot machines. The Vintage and Diamond slot machines offer the same betting options and potential winnings. Your Sim can place bets ranging from 1§ to 100§ and win up to 10,000§ — that’s ten times their bet! You have approximately a 25% chance of winning something on these machines. But be careful not to get carried away… luck is unpredictable, even in The Sims!
The NEW Super JACKPOT Machine
There’s a new Super Jackpot Slot Machine, and you guessed it — with this machine, you can win a LOT of money. How much? More than a million simoleons!!!
To play, you’ll need to use a 200§ gold coin. The chances of winning something on this machine are lower than on the others (about 15%), but the potential rewards are much higher. If you’re lucky enough to hit the JACKPOT (with less than a 0.01% chance to win), you’ll walk away with a truly epic prize.

Play Moker with your friends!
Moker is a card game inspired by poker where your Sim can play with friends and test their luck! Each round costs 50§ to join, but the winner walks away with a hefty 1000§. Call, raise, or fold, will your Sim play it smart or risk it all? Gather your crew and let the games begin! ♠️♥️♣️♦️
Important Note: Moker is an override of the Card Game, from the games table. In order to play with others on a public lot, you must form a group first, then click on "Play Moker With"!
Roulette Table 🎲!
Step into the glamour of the Royal Casino with the Roulette Table! Your Sims can bet anywhere from 50§ to 1000§, choosing to play it safe or go all in for the big win. Whether betting on 0 for a chance to win 10x your bet or other numbers with a 3x payout, the excitement is real, and the stakes are high! Do your Sims have what it takes to beat the odds? Spin the wheel and find out, luck is just a spin away! 🤑
Download the NEW Royal Casino from the Gallery!
The updated Royal Casino 2.0 is now available on the Gallery! 🎉 I’ve added the new machines, made some minor changes to the interior design, and, most importantly, added chairs. Yes, you read that right, there are FINALLY stools that slot perfectly to the slot machines!🪑 Your sims can finally sit while spending their money!
To find it on the Gallery, search for my EA ID: ArniePlus, make sure to tick the "Include Custom Content" on the sidebar, and put it on a non-residential lot! (I suggest you put the venue as a Bar, so sims come and have a drink at the Casino and it feels lively).
What's New in this Update?

💻 Improved and fixed almost all the code for each item!

🎨 Updated icons for the slot machines to match The Sims 4’s design.

🎨 Added new color swatches for the Royal Casino Entrance Sign, Moker Table, and Vintage Slot Machine.
🐛 Implemented several bug fixes and improvements!
Jan. 15th 2025 - UPDATE 2.1 Changelog:
🎰 Fixed the Diamond Slot Machine where the symbols did not display properly while in use.
🎨 Fixed a texture on a slot machine that displayed weird reflections
💻 Fixed the code for all the slot machines that could give an exception!

How to Install
Download the file attached to this post down below: "Arnie_RoyalCasino_2.1.package"
Put it in your Mods folder (and make sure you enable mods in the game's settings) and don't forget to remove any previous version from your mods folder too!
Enjoy :) You can find the items by searching for "Casino" or "Arnie" in the build/buy searchbar.

Hello! I love the idea of casinos, in The Sims 3 I used them a lot! But I wonder if there would be any possibility of other sims using the slot machines, the roulette and the poker table, they go and order drinks at the bar but no one ever plays, only my sims, I even have the idea of having a casino as a business, but of course, if they don't use the machines I don't see much point. This is not possible? It would be fantastic to be able to add it as a business activity as well. Anyway, thanks for your work :D

I tested both and did not experience crashes. Did you change the community lot type to basemental's 'casino'? Basemental casino objects do not work unless the lot type is set to casino.

I did some testing with Royal Casino and Basemental. Having both installed caused my game to crash. Once I removed one of them, no more crashes so they do conflict.

I suspect objects from both mods work standalone (independent). Meaning you can have both in-game but there is no cross-mod functionality.
