🕑 Added 2024-05-05 23:00:05 +0000 UTCWow, already on 4th release of the year! How time flies. Here's some of the things, other than some issues I've seen or that have been reported that I said I'd look into, that I'm hoping to get to this release:
Something that I've been thinking about for a while and want to actually get to now is doing a refactor of the way my billing functionality works. Since Sims 4 now has billing line-items, I'd like to research about adding MCCC billing adjustments as line items. It'd be handy because your bill details would have a line item for MCCC billing adjustment amounts as well as Child Support. I don't know what all this will take to implement and is probably where I'll spend the most time this release, but it's something I'd really like to do.
Provide a way to match Sims on marriage based on a trait. Basically, the way I see this is you can choose multiple traits from a dialog for the system. When marriage happens, if the target Sim has one of those traits, then you will only marry them to a Sim with the same trait.
Similar to the above, provide a way to never match Sims on marriage based on a trait. If the two Sims being checked both have the trait, they won't be married.
Allow Ghosts to have relationships set with the active Sim. Currently, ghosts have limited options when you click on them, and relationships isn't one of them. This would add that to ghosts like it is for other Sims so they can have their relationships altered.

So I just downloaded sims on my omen and Iโve never had mods before because I was playing on my iPad and I go into the game options and it donโt even have the option to enable scripted mods help please

Hi! There isn't a way to currently add/remove sentiments directly in MCCC but it makes sense to be something I add a feature for. There could very well be a Testing Cheat for it. If you have those enabled, you can shift-click a Sim and look through the cheat options available to see if there's something in there. I'll write down a note to research adding this at some point, as well. Thanks!

Hello. Thank you for all you do for us. Without you Sims 4 would be basically unplayable. One feature I would dearly love to see in your mod (if it's already there then apologies and where can I find it?) is editing sentiments. My character apparently resents his friend because she didn't invite him to the prom, whereas I'm playing him in such a way that he doesn't give two hoots about the prom! Is that feasible?
