This is a hotfix specifically to handle some of the new NPC's and the new region (Ravenwood) support to the mod. 2024.6.1 is still fully compatible and ok to use for players that are not buying Life & Death.

Compatibility:
This has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons, Get Famous, Strangeville, Island Living, Realm of Magic, Discover University, Eco Living, Journey to Batuu, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Werewolves, High School Years, Growing Together, Horse Ranch, For Rent, Lovestruck, Life & Death and the patch released November 7, 2024 - PC: 1.110.311.1020 / Mac: 1.110.311.1220. It will also work with anything after that Sims 4 update unless otherwise specified on Tumblr/Patreon posts I make after the update. Earlier Sims 4 versions may not be compatible, so we often do not support anything below the specified version here!
The legacy version of Sims 4 will now, and forever, use MCCC version 6.6.0, which can be found here in Patreon on an earlier post and on my website.

They will age with MCCC's setting, but only until they reach the end of the current age-span. They won't age up until they're not pregnant. It's built into the core game code that way. EA doesn't want Sims aging up while pregnant. They never have. They freeze aging, altogether, but MCCC will allow them to continue aging up to that point-in-time. No aging-up is allowed while a Sim is pregnant, period.

Hey, I just found your mod. I think it's pretty great but I have a question. I wanted to make it so that my pregnant sim would still age. I checked the active part on allow pregnant sim to age in your mod but they are still not aging. How can I change that?

Hello, I have a problem since the last expansion, and that is that when I bring adult sims from the mccc to a domestic unit, joining them to that unit, if they have children or pets, I get that they have been adopted by another random unit. Is it a game bug? of the mod? do you know anything about this? It is an option that I use a lot and it is very annoying. Thank you very much for all your work, greetings. (I'm sorry if you've already talked about this, I'm from Spain and reading in English is hard for me. Thank you.)

Yep. Not a MCCC issue. A core game issue. There's posts about it on EA's site. Like Sue said, that was supposedly fixed in the update last week according to the patch notes.

Thousands of people are using it. It works as long as it's installed, configured correctly and the player has the right version of the mod for the right version of Sims 4. If it's not working for you, you should be going for support at one of the Discord channels listed on the post. Waiting for another version of the mod, when my mod isn't your issue, won't fix anything. Convinced it is a problem with MCCC and not something else? That's fine. If you go to support and show them your issue and they analyze it and agree with you, they will bring it to my attention, and I will definitely fix anything needing fixing. However, since we have over 10K people on the support server right now and nobody has brought an issue like this up, I lean towards it not being a MCCC issue, as I've said.

Nope. No reports of anyone having any issues with that and nothing has changed in the code. I'd be more likely to believe that there's something on that Sim (and their household) that makes it invalid to change things. My MCCC menu is only showing blocks for letters, I can't see menu options. Any idea how to fix?

Now this seems interesting - did you mean to change it so it's no longer possible to change a pregnancy on a sim walking by? I now have to click into the household if I want to alter the # of offspring? I remember being able to do it in previous versions. I mean, it's not a huge deal, just curious if it were intentional.

Did you turn your cheats on and shift click the sim? 'modify in cas' won't come up without you having your cheats turned on in the save. I've started lots of new saves and forgotten :)

Yes. The compatibility section on the post should always have what version of Sims 4 it works with, and it was updated last week to include that it was compatible with the patch on November 7.

Hi, another version won't fix the issue if you haven't installed it right. It would only say there were version errors if you didn't install all of the modules of MCCC correctly. This is an installation issue, not a mod issue so no amounts of changes on my part will fix anything. There are no known issues with MCCC that would cause a last exception when your game launches, so you should go to support and have it analyzed there by the team. Most likely, it is a lot/core game issue, but they could tell you which.

Hey there, since updating the game and the latest MCC, everytime I start the game I get the last exception caught by MCc. I’ve even tried it without any other mods in the mod folder. just mcc by itself and it still does the same thing. As soon as I go into play a sim. Other then that I really love the mod and has always worked so perfectly

If you have issues with Discord, you should google to find what others that have had the issue have done to fix it. We don't support Discord. It's just a tool that we, like many others, use for communicating with players.

Hi sweetheart, just wanted to share a weird thing happening to me with the latest MCC + Update. Random sims/pets get adopted by random households. (noticed by the notifications, where I usually have none since I've turned those settings off) I've never had that before and it gives me an MCC error when it happens. Only by removing my MCC folder does the adoptions stop. I have the latest update with the latest expansion and I've got the latest version of MCC.

I don't ban anyone. I'm not an admin on the server. I don't have authority to ban anyone. All the commands and settings in MCCC are available from the search feature on my website. When you search for something, the result will not only have a description (for commands often they also describe when and when they don't show-up if there are requirements) as well as the in-game UI on where the command is located. So, for your example, you could just do a command search on "revive" to find that command, the UI Path to get to it and a description including when it does and doesn't show-up.

It depends on how the clothing are configured in EA's situation tuning files. If they're configured as situational outfits with a randomized outfit being generated of a specific type, then MCCC can alter that to use a saved outfit of a specific type instead. I have automated tests that I run after each expansion and, if there are new outfits that fit the requirements for doing so, I get a message about that after my tests run so I know to add new settings to MCCC for it. If they don't fit those categories, then they're just randomized situational outfits that MCCC won't be able to alter. Also, I have some information that is displayed when you do a Sim Detail log on a Sim that is at one of these situations that give outfit details that can tell the user if they are something that MCCC can override or not. One suggestion for future projects is whether it would be possible to modify the clothing sets for the new pack situations in the dressing room module, just like you can do for example with the San Myshuno festivals? It would be very helpful, since now they appear here with random clothes and, worst of all, using cc.

I found that the game had some how turned off script mods in the game settings. I always turn this on after updating mods but when I installed MCCC it got shut off again. It was a simple fix. I know now to check it after every mod update.

I appreciate you and your mods. <3 Just wanted to let you know that the Woohoo module appears to be messing with the ability to have a baby with the Grim Reaper. I have no other mods or settings that make pregnancy more difficult, but my Sim Try For Baby'd with Grim a staggering 14 times and nada. Deleted the MC Woohoo files, tried once, became immediately pregnant.

I have a note to look into Teen/Adult Marriage proposals in the next release. That would not be something that would be fixed in a hotfix as it's not critical functionality...if it is broken. Also, it's likely that if it's broken it's been broken since Lovestruck and was just never brought to Discord. If you need any support, Discord is the only place we do it.

The general channels are closed right now. They always are right after an update until more of the mods get fixed. You're a subscriber, though, so you have access to the Patreon channels which ALWAYS stay open. And like one of the support team posted in an earlier comment about the closed Discord server, there are still information posts on the server for technical support available, even when the channels are closed. Glad you found your issue.

Not working properly for me (or I'm missing something)! Trying to allow teens to be able to get engaged - Could do it before just fine, doesn't seem to be working now despite adding them to the valid marriage ages. Advice?? (I cannot use the discord unfortunately)

I can't go into CAS from the game with it in my Mods folder, and all of my goals for events disappeared. Discord is so confusing to me! I just usually wait until a new update gets out before using it.

I was able to trouble shoot it on my own. On the discord it had a note that general help was closed. I found the discord forms very confusing.

You can read through the installation and troubleshooting documentation on my website in the Help menu to read through steps to check for that. For support, you have to go to the Discord links. If you're trying to post to one of the general channels, you will have to authenticate yourself as "not a bot". There's a Q&A about that in the FAQ on my website: https://deaderpool-mccc.com/faq.html#gq3 As a supporter, you can go to one of the Patreon-specific channels. Those do not require validation and you will be able to post there as long as your Discord and Patreon accounts are linked so you will be given access.

Yep. Like I said, I have no recollection of specific code in there for that and that it MAY actually be things that are expected for Sims to become pregnant but ghosts and the reaper don't have it. I did say I would look into it next release to find out.

I don't usually comment, but since the new life and death pack dropped i've been determined to have the Grim Reaper's child. No matter what settings I used with the WooHoo Module, I couldn't get my sim pregnant whatsoever. I literally just removed that module, tried for baby with Grim and BOOM, pregnant first try. I figured it may be good to mention in case anyone else is having that issue! Thank you so much for all that you do for us Deaderpool! <3

Life and Death has officially introduced the ability to have babies with the Reaper—they even get a special trait ("grim born"), no mods needed. MC Woohoo is specifically blocking the ability, I have no mods that make Grim woohooable. Removing my only mod MCCC allowed my sim to become pregnant from the Reaper and have a baby with the grim born trait. The documentation on your website for MC Woohoo specifically says that "if the target sim is a reaper or ghost, they will not get pregnant," (copied and pasted verbatim) which I take to mean that it's included in the mod itself.

I have no plans on changing anything for MCCC to allow the reaper to be woohooed or become pregnant through him. I would allow other mods to do that, as like you said, other mods already do that. I would expect that MCCC is actually not blocking pregnancy for the reaper but it's, instead, that an expected property on the reaper doesn't exist in the base game. For example, he doesn't have the CAS property to "make others pregnant". If he doesn't have that, then he can't make a Sim pregnant...that's just the way pregnancy with MCCC works. From what I remember, MCCC has no code in it saying, "if Sim = reaper then don't allow this Sim to become pregnant through them". Nothing to specifically block that behavior. Or ghosts, for that matter. I have already been asked about this and was planning to do some research on it next release. I don't remember having anything specific to block it but there might be something based on expected behavior that isn't there for those Sims. Since the note is in my docs, I'd just have to see what is in the code when I'm working on the next release.

Are you planning on making the Grim Reaper woohooable now that EA allows it? The new pack gives Grimbabies a special trait, however MC Woohoo still does not allow Sims to become pregnant from the Reaper, even using Try for Baby (I have updated to the newest version). I had to remove MC Woohoo in order for my Sim to get pregnant (so I know it's MC causing the issue). The MC Woohoo documentation on your website still says, "If the target Sim is a reaper or ghost, they will not get pregnant."

The website link takes you directly to my website's download page. On that download page, all of the current supported releases are listed. When you click the link for MC Woohoo for the right version to download, it downloads...I've tested that. That's the way it works. It doesn't "take you back here" when you click the download link for MC Woohoo...The only link on that page that brings you back here is clicking on the "Support the Mod" link or if you went all the way to the bottom skipping past all the download links for MCCC and MC Woohoo and clicked the link for "Private Releases", which only apply to Patreon-only releases like the details say there, has nothing to do with public releases. If you have trouble with getting it there, you should go to one of the other sources. Only thing I can really suggest for you.
