Steve

love the full build series, gives so much detail and great appreciation of what it takes start to finish!

Chris St. Cyr

Love this whole series. Looking forward to building two out there after the house project is complete.

Gerald Eddy

Thats the same message I am getting. Have taken all the steps Patreon has given me and can no longer watch the videos. Really aggravating!

Gerald Eddy

Neither do I, but it appears to me to be a problem with Youtube. Patreon is working with me but a solution has not been found as yet.

Rex Krueger

Wow! We're having the opposite problem here in OH!

Rex Krueger

I think we'll do another!

Rex Krueger

Those sound like fine choices!

Rex Krueger

That makes me feel better!

Rex Krueger

On that little table, the top was just screwed to the uprights. No apron. So it had very little strength without bottom stretchers. This table has aprons and is light-duty so no need for more stretchers.

Rex Krueger

I hope so to. I probably will.

Rex Krueger

Love my no 4. I use it sparingly so it stays sharp.

Rex Krueger

You too, and thank you!

Rex Krueger

Me too! I have no idea what that will be!

Rex Krueger

Glad you enjoyed it.

Rex Krueger

I have no idea what's going on here. I haven't changed anything. I promise. I think you need to email customer support and I'll help any way I can.

Rex Krueger

Yes! We hope to make them a product, but we're keeping it quiet while we work out the bugs.

Rex Krueger

So glad you enjoyed it!

Rex Krueger

None of it is perfect. Don't sweat the little details.

Rex Krueger

When you're doing end grain, there is no "with the grain" and no "against". It's just ends so there's no grain direction.

Henrik Ubbe

When you bevelled the end grain part of top you went against the grain, not with. Could you elaborate on why that is better?

Fanichio

"You may find your undercarriage isn't perfectly square, mine isn't" THANK YOU for calling that out, and repeatedly through this series showing mistakes, and how you dealt with them. Getting into this hobby can be intimidating when all one sees is perfection. This has been a great series, and prompted me to make one for myself, although I added a drawer to mine. Hope you're having a great thanksgiving weekend with your loved ones.

Fanichio

Use both! I made this table myself, used ambrosia maple for the top, regular maple for the legs, and sapele for the aprons, the contrast looked great. I think Rex used maple and cherry in his original build.

Kenneth Carlile

Also, this series was _awesome_. I'd love to see another one!

Kenneth Carlile

Is that a 3d printed knob and tote on the #5? Did you do a video about those?

Gerald Eddy

Despite Patreon trying to help me I am (despite paying for it) excluded from this content😞

Bradley Barth

Nice to see this in such detail start to finish.

Robert

Great table build project, hoping to get to build this one yet myself. Looking forward to what you might build next year.

Matt Evans-Koch

That table finished up really nice, Rex. Thank you for this build series and have a great weekend with the family.

Richard C von Brecht

It was real great to see you pull out your No 4 Stanley Sweetheart smoother. I bought one just like it just because you enjoyed yours so much. I’ve enjoyed mine a lot. I’ve added a couple of Jack Plane since but the No 4 is still my favorite.

Jud Greer

Enjoyed the series. I hope you can do another one next year.

Fred Wolsey

That was a great project. I would love to see another like this. Happy Thanksgiving Rex. North of the border we're expecting snow for the next three days. I have a design question. I will be making this in the New Year (I have some Ambrosia Maple and some Cherry, not sure which I will use). When you built the smaller round table in the Spring, it had stretchers near the bottom. This one doesn't. Is there a reason for this?

John Griswold

8 or 9 months isn't bad...I started my first guitar build following luthier Chris Alvarado on his "3000 Year Old Guitar" project, and it took him 3 years to finish. I was in too deep to wait and had to blow past him; your table looks great and was WAY quicker!

George Griffiths

Enjoyed the whole build I have some Beech and Sapele I am going to use for this

Geoffrey Wilson

I really enjoyed the build along series, and I'm still building a long! Would love to see another one.

Peter R Schuck

Have a Happy Holiday Rex. Bloody hot here yesterday and today very high 30s Celsius nearly a 100 Fahrenheit. Electrical grid is struggling. Wife told me they had to close 2 operating theatres doing orthopaedic surgery today as air-conditioning wasn't working well and the cement they use was drying out too fast to use. Sucks because these operations are scheduled months in advance. Take care.
