I’m happy to report that we’re healthy and fully back to work! This week, we present the (long-awaited) sequel to my review of affordable grinders. In today’s video, we’re covering everything you need to grind your woodworking tools with cheap, high-speed dry grinders. Think you need a slow-speed water-cooled grinder? Think again. As usual, we get it done with minimum fuss.
Happy Saturday!

PS: The colors in this video are a tiny bit off. These new cinema cameras we're using are very complicated and I need to learn a bit more. We'll get there.

Anytime I shorten a screw, I use the grinder to chamfer the threads for easier starting and a smooth end that won’t snag and less likely to damage the starting thread.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I suffered through crappy tool rests for years and as you stated, the results were terrible and I stopped using the grinder for beginning the sharpening process.
