BE, some level of bondage, and an element of mystery makes this a really unique take. If the water retention is something that sticks around in a followup, it would be interesting to have her poking around if there was actually an osmosis machine, if the drugs or something else from the party caused the process, or some combination of the two? Is there is something mysterious going on, is it something you blow the lid off of, or is it something that Cassie's looking for just to take another go at it?

Thank you! I just write what sounds good to my brain. My ears are sensitive to the same nouns being used close together. I've been told by this 80ish year old priest author that my grasp on the English language is decades ahead of him and I'm good at turning a phrase, so that was nice to hear.
