For the end of this story, I can imagine two possible scenarios, one of which is very bleak. In both, Ashley ends up alone, because I think it's impossible for her to end up with Carlos. To him, Ashley is just a toy that he'll get bored with quickly enough. She can't end up with Jacob either (unless he loses his dignity) because what she did to him is unforgivable, and she has no mitigating circumstances. In the dark scenario, I see Carlos winning completely, using Ashley to manipulate and humiliate Jacob until he falls into despair. Maybe even to the point of suicide. In the end, Ashley is left alone with her guilt and shame. In the other scenario, I see Jacob turning the tables, socially humiliating Carlos by making him understand that, contrary to what he believes, the alpha male is not necessarily the one with the most muscle. In the end, Ashley will beg Jacob to forgive her, but it will be too late for her.
