Haha, I am exactly the same! XD Btw, please do include the tracker if there is one as sometimes parcels can end up at depots that can't deliver to P.O Boxes, so I may need to go and collect it from my local office. :)

I sent it two days ago, I believe. I know, I’m cutting it close!! But it’s first class and should arrive before Christmas, the delivery aim is the next working day. So hopefully it’s with you soon!! We're conditioned to think that parents are evil because of the track history of parents on Buffy/Angel. For some of us, it goes even deeper because of our real life families being bad. It's nice when they end up being sweet.

I love Fred so much, and this episode is great at solidifying her place in the crew and allowing her to take the first step towards healing from her trauma. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burkle, are a delight - and a refreshing change from the kind of parents we're used to in this universe; we have Xander's tumultuous family life, Willow's distant and aloof mother, Wesley, Tara and Angel's abusive fathers, Cordelia's white-collar criminal parents and Buffy's deadbeat dad. What a breath of fresh air to have a couple who just love their daughter and want what's best for her. The design and practicality of the bug demons is awesome; it's just a bit let down by the slow-mo camera effect, but it's actually a really impressive costume/puppet. I think my favourite scene of this episode is Fred and Angel's conversation where she talked about just making herself a new cave after Pylea, but I also really like her breakdown in front of her parents. Amy Acker is a phenomenal actress with a great range, and I can't wait for you to see what else she has in store 💜

I love Fred's parents, they are truly the best. Fred's energy really lifted the show for me, so although the trip to Plrtz Glrb was completely strange and out of nowhere, it was worth it because we got Fred.

On first watching I was suspicious of them too - bit it's refreshing for Fred to have two wholesome, loving parents that care for their daughter's wellbeing- a rarity in this series, where one or both parents seem to be absent (Willow, Buffy) or abusive (Xander, Wesley, Tara).
