Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen (Cindy Lou) actually met each other for the first time in 25 years a few weeks ago. It was some Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event, she has a band and was there for that, and he was a friend of one of the bands involved. So of course they had to go see each other when they realized the other one was there

I remember watching this when it came out and almost wanting to hate it on purpose, and early on in the film I thought I would be proven right; yet as it got going, I found myself drawn into its fun, charm and warmth, and despite myself, ending up loving it!

Tiny bit of trivia to connect it back to Buffy. The actor playing the young version of the Grinch played Timmy in Passions (the one Spike loves to watch :-) sadly he passed away in 2002.
