Do’s and Don’ts
🕑 Added 2023-06-23 03:26:16 +0000 UTCAs some might have heard, my Disney-esq style came under critique and I was asked to remove quite a bit of art from Patreon. I’m a bit sour about it, especially since there was some art where characters were canonically over 18 (Dawn Elora/Eloric) that I was asked to remove. I drew this out of irony. I changed what specifically was the problem with my art according to the moderators.
So I made a comprehensive diagram of how you need to draw if you want to make someone look unmistakably adult. I took a look at your suggestions as well as looked up what other people do to make the perfect, most adult looking adult I could muster. I hope you enjoy my facetiousness.
If there is anything I can do to deviate from my usual style to make my adults look even more adult, let me know. I’m afraid i might have missed something.

I’ll still post on patreon, no worries if you’re still here you’ll still get as much as they let me give you. There is still the majority of my work in this platform, but I want a place I can put it all in one place. Maybe one day Patreon will reconsider its criteria for art and I’ll put it all back.

If you leave Patreon, let me know where to pledge instead. How do we go back to the you who just draws what they enjoy? Is kind of how I feel. Have you been normalizing the sexualization of minors? I'm not an authority on that, but I haven't felt creeped out or like your stuff was getting dark. It's more like the opposite, light-hearted, which I enjoy. And I want you as an artist to be the same, happy and light-hearted. Please delete this if what I'm saying is ignorant.

I was wondering, do you have the art that you had to remove somewhere else like another site, or are they gone now that Patreon made you take it down? I don’t think I ever saw the ones that Patreon didn’t like.
