Really good question! I never base my interest in something based on a gameplay video. I just don't learn about games in that way. I basically just use my honed radar of interest. :) I've played enough of these kinds of games, that I just kind of know the general vibe of what I'm looking for. The way this game is described, along with the way it looks, is what made me interested. In this instance, they mention The Witcher and Skyrim, which makes me believe it's a kind of open world sandbox game. And it uses cards in conjunction with a book and a map. I love cards as a tool for generating things in solo games. Also, it's made for solo play. Those are all things I like for in these kinds of games.

How are you all assessing what you are backing? There are no gameplay videos at all and only a rough outline of the story and basic mechanics.
