Water release instead of sprinklers? I'm not blaming the engineers for lacking something normal, I think the solution must be way cooler and supernatural-y! Like the side of a nearby aquarium opens and a water elemental is released who quickly runs over and punches the fire until it's out! The fish stay in the elemental of course because animal cruelty is bad, even if we get to see a being made of water suplex burning objects until order is restored.
