Fantastic Voyage (1966) Full Length Reaction

I thought they did a lot with what they were working with and I know if I'd seen this as a kid it would've dazzled me! Very unique score too! Any other movies like this we should check out?

I saw this at the Drive-In when it first came out. I would recommend you watch First Men In The Moon, Harryhausen period/modern sci-fi. It too has a lot of practical effects, plus stop motion, and ADVENTURE.

It's been a very long time since I watched this movie; I'd forgotten how good it was. The novel based on the movie was written by Isaac Asimov.

You really do transport yourself back to when they first came out and have respect and appreciation for what they did at the time. There's so many great classic sci-fi movies for you to check out and enjoy - It Came From Outer Space, The Incredible Shrinking Man, Invaders From Mars, This Island Earth, Robinson Crusoe on Mars, to name but a few. A "frogman" is a person trained for underwater operations, originally a term for WWII naval divers (UDT), now often used for military combat swimmers (like Navy SEALs) or specialized police divers, distinguished by gear like masks, fins, and air supply for covert missions.
