0.6 Status Update - Final

This week we have some good news and some bad news.
Let's start with the good news. This cycle we've had to learn how to work around some annoying issues. Next cycle, we'll have our new creation rig up and running to feed the rendering beast. This means both rigs will be running the same version of Daz3D, which should ideally eliminate all the consistency issues we've been experiencing and save Npx some crying. Key word "should."
The bad news is that this update will have a couple less renders of Helen and Mike. Some tree renders were also sacrificed. We don't like cutting content, but sometimes it happens.
We are still doing final touches on the last scene which we struggled with before. However, the release dates announced in our previous status update are still holding up! Here they are again for those who missed it:
Enthusiast+ tiers: Thursday, August 22nd
Player tier: Saturday, August 24th
We've also added a new entry tier to our Patreon page, the Fan tier. This has been requested a couple of times, so why not?
Other news
Many of you have probably heard about the Apple and Patreon situation this past week. It's not good and you can read more about it here. But life goes on. We recommend using a browser or Android instead of the app store for all your future Patreon needs.

There's always some content that gets edited, cut or added. This mention was something that was removed. And 0.7 comes after the 0.6 update. :)

Hi guys, stop posting your DevLogs in the middle of the night...it's just too much for my poor heart to see my favorites right after I get up...Bree and Sophie, see you soon π₯° Yes, life is a bitch. Too bad about the renders, but I'm assuming your absence won't interfere with the story. And I like to repeat myself: take as much time as you need. We love you and your work. And yes, other developers have already pointed out the problem with the Apple Shop. I myself use Patreon on my PC and only use the app on my Android to check for posts etc. Apple users should simply stop using the app and use Patreon via the Safari browser. Otherwise, have a nice weekend.

Based on what I was reading, creators can set a price increase to only affect iOS users. So Android (or web browser/desktop) users won't see the increase. I don't even have the Patreon app on my phone - I just pay on the website. Patreon gets their cut, but the rest will always go to the creator.

As far as the apple/patreon thing in your link, I don't do apple. I would think that apple users pay the apple fee and not spread around to non-apple users.
