0.7 Status Update #7

This week went by pretty fast! We worked on some scripting, Freeplay segments and props. We were unhappy with a small sequence of renders, mainly thanks to a low quality prop we had that stood out a bit too much and was in the focus, so we made our own. A spray bottle. We made a spray bottle. And it will spray... water. Absolutely necessary!
We also worked on some other props and a UI for a camera. You might notice that it's not Player's camera this time around.
In the past we sometimes struggled to find items that we needed, and it's been nice to overcome that issue by learning to do it ourselves. They might not be the highest quality but they do work. And more importantly, we don't have to skip something just because the prop didn't exist!
We're now pretty much done with the sets and props planned for 0.7, but we'll see if anything else pops up still. There are also a couple of outfits left to create, which we may end up polling as there are several options we are considering. However, those scenes won't be relevant for a while.

You're absolutely right. I don't know why I wrote that. It's the first time that someone close to me has died and I somehow couldn't cope with it. I wanted to distract myself, I saw the post and I felt like I had to tell everyone to take care of their loved ones.

Last update had 1,8k renders. Every week they make 70-80 renders. S to round numbers up 2k renders, 75 per week + holydays, fuckupsβ¦ 30 weeks i suspect. This means new update will be at the end of march/begining of april π©

Normally I comment on each of your DevLogs, but not today. My sister died unexpectedly last night at my nephew's wedding. We are all in shock. She leaves behind 5 children and husband. Give your loved ones a hug and tell them you love them. You never know when you will have the opportunity.

"Prop doesn't exist, well it will once we've made it" is DEFINITELY the best attitude to have. Esp when they actually function as well. I love these little touches you put in, I haven't seen them in any other AVN and that's just another thing on a very long list of things I love about Summer Heat!
