My first TV job included running the teleprompter for the morning news. It was basically a knob that I would have to turn to go faster or slower. It's a lot harder than it sounds. At bigger TV stations the anchors control it themselves with a foot pedal - think car accelerator. There's a real art to reading from a teleprompter and it's part of the coursework if you are in radio/TV school. Willam, you're all set!

this is so fun i love it. when alaska was trying to read and just reacted about the news instead “*gasps* this is terrible!” it was so funny because imagine if a real reporter did that, just reading the thing on their mind and commenting about it but no one can see what they’re talking about “omg noooo, that sucks”
