Blood rushed to his head, momentarily deafening the bestial calls until his eyes grew accustom to the darkness of the room. The blurred lines between the entangled limbs became sharper as his vision focused, and suddenly the breath was knocked out of him.
He saw her features first but instinctively recognized her body - he had seen and felt it in its purest form mere days ago, but nowhere near as erratic as it moved now. Max clung to the large mirror's frame like her very life depended on it, the body of Lewis MacAllistair pumping into her from behind.

That's just a tiny excerpt from the story my bf wrote about this piece!! We were working on The Beast with Two Backs at the same time, which was pretty fun ;3
Rick stumbling through university corridors, following the thumping and sighing, only to find a sight he doesn't quite believe is real. It's ominous, this beast he finds, and even when he wakes up, smelling like sex, he's sure it must've been a dream.
The uncovered mirror will come back at some point, it has to do with the dark happenings on campus. Students disappearing, whisperings of a secret society lurking around. The usual.
SO yes all in all, this painting is huge, I spend a good 10 hours on this today and managed to finish it before losing my absolute mind. It's big, it's detailed, I almost died, it's got everything!

Oooooooh I like that little painting on the far left of Dante et VirgileΒ byΒ William-Adolphe Bouguereau! It's like a little easter egg for me! Overall this as a whole is beautiful!
