Churches in uk can register as charities which means when you donate, you can sign to allow them to claim back the tax you paid on the money when you earned it. If that makes sense. But our pastors etc do have to pay taxes for their personal income, from what I recall thatβs not the case in the States (although happy to be corrected if I misunderstood).
