It's been a while since I painted anything for this story! It's Professor Rick slowly growing more and more unhinged from reality. Fun :3
I always enjoy picking out the paintings to add in the background, this time it's the classic Saturn devouring his son, and a daughter giving suckle to her father who was condemned to starve in prison. Heavy subjects I thoroughly enjoy depicting to add depth!
(Also on a diff note, the tea pot has traditional Dutch 'Defts Blauw' paintings on it.)
I hope you like it, this definitely took me a lot longer than expected but my attention span is literally nonexistant right now!! I'm really happy I still managed to finish this though. This weekend I'll be taking a step back before preparing a new series of paintings I have planned for March! I'm honestly super excited, I hope you'll like the upcoming themes, it'll be a handfull of hopefully intricate pieces inspired by Vivaldi's The Four Seasons!
