You know I always love your long ‘rambles’ omg 😭💞 thank you so much I’m always happy when details or emotion is picked up but the way you described it is perfect because that basically nails it. I love.. not having to describe things word for word myself and let the viewer do the thinking instead, I really wanna try and increase that in my art!! My December (and November) have been kinda rough but making art has been incredibly fun and rewarding, thank you again!!!! 💓💓💓

Oh my gosh! This has got to be my new favorite piece of yours. Don't get me wrong though, every piece you make just takes my breath away, but this one? Ooof!! I feel it in my guts. The way King holds onto Jones' upper body, the way he puts his nose/lips in Jones' hair, possibly sniffing his, filling his mind with the scent of the man in his arms (read heart, because there's just no way a man like that holds another the way he does, without there being more than lust involved XD). And then... The way Jones clings to King. To me, it looks the same as men that's brought up with toxig masculinity, desperately clutching onto someone for comfort in their most vulnerable state, trusting that someone with their vulnerability. And it's just breathtakingly humbling and touching to see that. I'm not even gonna start on the beauty of King's belly, because it just spells hot for everyone... 🥵👌 What I will mention though, as if I haven't already rambled enough, is the lighting! Holy snappy snap! It's so goooood! 🥰✨ The steamy windows, the water drops rolling, the city and car lights beyond... (also, the different stages of the art!! 🤩✨✨✨) Joëlle! This is just so amazing and I'm caught so deeply by it. If you ever decide to sell it, or copies of it, count me in as first in line for a bid 🤭 I so hope your December is going well and that you have enough time to relax and just enjoy!
