First post of 2022!!!
I hope everyone had a nice New Years! On NYE I did one of those kits where you melt a piece of lead in a spoon, drop it in water and see what shape you get, and in turn, what fortune you get. The first I did was; people will talk shit about me. FAIR. However, not good enough. So I did a second one which said a wish of mine will come true. 💆
I’m really excited for the next handful of paintings I have planned. I really wanna focus on improving how I tell a story in a single static picture. (And it still being sexy.)
I enjoy doing smaller paintings, because I get to focus on the characters themselves more while the background still isn’t solid white, but simple.

Thank you so much!! I’ve been looking at a lot of early 1900 houses and they’re great inspo. Even better when they’re a little run down honestly. It’s been super fun adding this kind of simple detailing in my paintings, I think it brings the whole piece together quite well!
Okay, obvs your artwork is so stunning and I too, almost had a heart attack at the title, but I did want to mention something I really appreciate about this piece: The paneling on the wall behind them just drips of early 1900 late 1890's vibe. It's because of this, that I comment, because of course technically you're good, but also your attention to the details like this that help the viewer get lost in the moment without distraction is just *chef kiss*

OH LOL NOOO oh my god, no the fortune thing was just funny honestly, nothing is being taken very serious >m< Also i.. I do love me some dramatic titles. Bcs hor's inner monologue is pretty egotistical and i love him for it.
