Hor is madly in love and terrible at hiding it (Ric doesn’t see it because he’s an oblivious fool) Rics face is my fav thing in this though, he’s exhausted
I had a lot of fun trying to make them look a bit older, I’m sure I can improve though and I’d love to draw them more wrinkled up next time! I looked at references for wrinkled bodies and all that but quite a bit was kinda just done by feel and what felt right. Definitely something to focus on for me!! I have a sketch from ages ago with an older Ric I’m hoping to get to soon :3c
I’d intended to finish this sooner but I had a bad case of the ‘can’t sit still’ bug, so instead I painted a cabinet and bothered my partner a bunch.
Anyway, I hope you like it, doing greenery like this always seems SO intimidating, because it’s hard to know where to start. But every time, it turns out it’s very methodical. There’s steps in layers, and as long as you follow these steps it should turn out fine! And inevitably it did, hooray

Absolutely!! Exactly this, there’s often this hump before starting, trying to remember exactly how you did it in the past. Half the struggle is simply making a start, it’ll come back to me as I go along

Thank you, Rics expression was a lot of fun to try and get right 💘 and yea totally true! I didn’t want to over do it with the wrinkles yet as this was kind of a try out, but maybe I’ll try adding a bit more next time!
