Hey guys, now for something a bit diff- I’ve been absent on here. I’m not doing great, my mental health just sorta took a nose dive and I have been working myself up towards creating art again. Its tough right now but I have a good support system.
And that’s all for now on that matter.
In the time that I’ve been away though, I’ve been steamrolling through sketches, I have over 20 where the poses are finished at least, so I’m excited for those.
I was wondering if you wanted to see some of them or if I should just keep it to the actual lineart & painting when it’s finished. I was also considering doing some ‘simpler’ paintings. Trying out gouache again and having solid tones sounds kinda cool.
Anyway let me know, as well as let me know what you think of the painting!
I’m really hoping to join more zines and artbooks in the future
Please enjoy this one ♥️

Such a pleasant glow on his tail in particular and the water ripples are kinda hypnotic! Your environments always feel like a 4d experience... (quite surprised you got through so many sketches while feeling so under the weather, hope you're not overworking yourself but very much looking forward to seeing them progress <3)

This is so lovely looking, the tones are so great! Sorry things have been tough recently, glad you have a support system. It can be hard to create under the best of circumstances, hope you’re resting as well!

As a fellow artist, I feel anything that you post is more than enough! Just hope you know how inspiring you are! If you are experimenting with new simpler coloring methods, go for it! Show us how you grow and learn 🌟
Aaa i love this. The ripples in the water and Ric's fins are gorgeous. I LOVE the way Antonius' hands hover just over Ric's shoulder and the dagger, and he has a sort of detached look in his eyes, like he's psyching himself up to doing what he feels he must. Such a gorgeous liittle story.

I really enjoy your work, and love seeing sketches! I'm happy to see whatever, it doesn't always have to be finished works. That just puts more stress on you.

This is beautiful!!!! Also, i enjoy all of your work, no matter the pace! Weather its weekly or monthly, it doesn’t matter. Every piece of your work is a treat to behold! I also love it when you post pictures of your day-to-day life, or whenever you post life drawings or about the books you are reading. All of your content is wonderful, and you are a wonderful person. I hope you are thriving and i hope you feel better soon! Take as much time as you need.
