Quick update on the developments of Gofile in recent months.
A significant amount of work has been done behind the scenes by our teams, almost seamlessly for you all.
The last three months have been a period of intensive migration, both in terms of hardware and software.
Regarding the hardware, we have completely revamped our server distribution and the associated hardware.
Technical choices made several years ago had to be rethought as the service's popularity grew.
This hardware migration also required a substantial part of the backend to be rewritten in a new language to take advantage of the performance improvements offered by the new hardware.
Today, Gofile is five times more efficient and stable than it was three months ago.
A single server in one region can now handle tens of thousands of concurrent downloads at over 100 Gbps per server.
Just yesterday, we released a new version of our API. It is much more comprehensive than the previous one and more in line with the standard specifications of REST APIs.
Finally, a significant update has been made to the direct links feature.
These links, which allow you to distribute your content without going through the Gofile site, have been equipped with new functionalities.
Now, it is possible to create multiple links for a single content item. This content can be a file or even a folder, in which case a ZIP with all the content will be generated on the fly.
These links are customizable; you have the option to configure protection mechanisms such as authorized domains, login:password authentication, source IP addresses, or even an expiration date.
All of this is accessible from your file manager in the content options.
We are actively working on the implementation of the much-anticipated remote upload feature, which will support URLs and torrents.
However, we do not have a time estimate, as we are working on many topics in parallel.

Hello, GoFile is linked to the email address you use on Patreon. If you signed up with the wrong email, you can simply change your email address in your Patreon profile, and GoFile will update accordingly.

Hello, You can change your email on your Patreon profile page. Gofile will automatically update the premium status of your new Patreon email within a few hours. If you are unable to change your email on Patreon, we can refund your subscription, allowing you to subscribe again with the correct email. Please reach out to us directly through the contact page on our website.

This seems to not be true as since I have been paying for your service since 2023 I only get around 10-15mbps and I have multi gig internet which makes no sense. If your servers are better good on you but if not then I will have to look elsewhere for file storage with much faster upload speeds.

I recently registered as a premium member of Gofile. I have activated my account using the link provided in the email. Despite completing all the necessary steps, I am unable to use the premium services as advertised. When I try to download all files as a batch, I cannot do so because I am only able to log in as a "guest" user. How can I resolve this issue?

Hello, In fact, we do not impose any bandwidth limitations. However, depending on your location and the available upload server, your upload speed can sometimes be slowed down due to the distance from the server. Many of our upload servers have been experiencing heavy load over the past few days. We are in the process of deploying new servers, and we expect things to improve shortly.

Why are upload speeds limited to 45mbps ? that's super slow for someone like myself that backs up all their YouTube exports which can exceed over 20GB per video export. This is really tedious and really not necessary and slow. Please make your upload speeds faster for premium members. I have 1.2GBPS download and 1.030Gbps upload speeds. This should be more then enough to upload multiple videos of 20gb files.

The new API changes look really nice, but how do you actually get an accountId for the accounts endpoint? Is it still possible to get account details using only an API token? I'm probably just blind... but I'm having issues figuring this one out...
