I hate to Dyke-splain, but I believe the movie Dane is thinking of is “Under the Tuscan Sun” with Diane Lane and Sandra Oh as the lesbian friend. It doesn’t at all resemble the book which was fabulous. I have to say that I agree with Dane that Eat Pray Love isn’t Julia’s best effort but I really liked the book.
