I remember when I was a kid and the only litter Sunken Meadow Beach in NY had were cigarette butts (smoking in state parks was legal in the 70s and 80s) and even that was too much litter. The last time I was there was in '22 before we moved and you'd see some people leave their garbage behind even though there are plenty of trash cans around or if a plastic bag was caught by the breeze they wouldn't chase it down (again not everyone but just one lazy POS is too many).

Another tough but important message to share and hear. It’s made me look into Barba and see how I might help. Thank you for opening my mind to other ways to help animal causes - I wish I were talented in the way you are, but I will find another way to contribute.
