As with most European Air forces, they probably would want to. But it will be a decade long project even if they decide on it today, esp. considering the force structure, pilot and maintenance training, logistic infrastructure, production, basing etc requiring massive investments

Wikipedia reports 70 fighter aircraft. They should think about tripling that number of fighters. If they have not already, get the air to air refueling process going. Going about it smart, same airframe type.
