Everything I Need- thoughts from me

Right now I am truly writing and releasing an EP (album??) as I go. These songs are exactly what I am going through as we speak. And this song is coming out at quite a time in my life.
I'll be able to make some really exciting announcements in the next few weeks. I'm so excited.
Along with that come the questions. What if it all falls apart? What if I'm not supposed to be doing this? Why do I struggle to connect with my audience these days? Why are algorithms stacking themselves more and more against creators, making us pay for the chance to be shown to our own followers? Why is the music industry so reliant on these platforms that don't care about our work at all? What if I just can't get to where I want to be?
Having a song out now where the leading question is "What if I am everything I need?" is such an antidote to all of those thoughts. It's exactly what I have to continually ask myself in order to stay grounded in what is important.
There's a lot of excitement coming up. I constantly come back to the fact that none of it would be happening if it weren't for Patreon. This whole "releasing music as it comes to me" thing is something I can ONLY do because I am an independent artist. And that is because you all allow me to be. Thank you endlessly for that. Thank you for the opportunity to share the reminders I need in this world in hopes that they can help others.
