Fun! A new world, new peoples, outside the umbrella of the established multiversal powers. True exploration, the Roaming Protagonist. I like this stuff a lot. I'm glad the new universe has cool stuff in it to discover. The old ones also surely do, as Vilas said, some things one can only stumble upon. But this 93rd universe is all new! Jake is a bit special and normally not a big talker, but he's gonna have to be diplomatic and friendly and thoughtful this time. Good for him, and for us, I look forward to reading it. I also have a bit of an accumulation of ~20 or so chapters to read, I feel fortunate.

I think he can now that he's been made aware of the space and Jake being in there. In my mind this works like forbidden knowledge for the average joe. Once you've gotten access to the knowledge you can learn about it and have conversations about it. But we won't know for sure until Jake and Villy have a chat.

Yeah, he needs to play with his Class before Event time, but these Profession possibilities are really exciting! This is part of the current description in Touch: "Allows the Alchemist to far more effectively control all toxins he is in contact with when using Touch of the Malefic Viper." I'd love for his next upgrade to be him controlling all toxins around him, the zone of control scaling with Perception with the effectiveness of his control still based on Int/Wis. Take control of Venus, Jake!

Tyftc I do like that Jake is trying some diplomacy. I wonder how things will go down the line with them. Alliance to take down the boglord? Or another group? (probably mushroom people knowing Jake, or apes). Or will they try to stab him in the back? I think the chances low seeing how surprised they were at his movement speed. Unlesssss it was all an act. And they noticed him in stealth. As for my predictions: Are these frogs the cute race I predicted? Dunno yet. Did we see a big boss elemental? Mmm maybe the boglord is one. My predictions weren’t that good for now though.

I can't stop smiling the whole time reading this. Imagine there are a myriad of different "races" all at war with one another and it's a truly massive minor world the size of a galaxy or something. Loving this new arc! It's been awhile since we've had that wonder of exploring the unknown! For such a long time now, things have already been fairly quantified. We know the basic races, factions, etc. and anytime Jake has encountered something new, he had Villy or someone else to fall back on for exposition, so he still ended up with at least a general idea of what to expect. Boldly go, Jake! Boldly go!
