A very cool way to have jake address the weakness on his skill sheet. It would have been easy to just have him upgrade it over a chapter or two because the rarity level bugged him, tying it to lesser primeval origin energy makes so much sense.

I would be tempted to put the mystery faction inside Nevermore if I was the malefic author. Have it hidden somehow. Umm ... dungeons create soulless creatures...dungeons can absorb things that die inside them. But I don't think all wonders are dungeons. Bound gods can be found in wonders. Bound gods can be very powerful. Entire system multiverse is inside a wonder? Mystery faction is led by a Bound god hoping to release themselves using Jake juice. Back to dungeon creatures similarity to the gods that attacked Jake. How did they leave the dungeon? Meh...time to do laundry...I'll make up some stupid theory later.

Does anyone else think that the lesser primeval energy will become a legacy skill of Jake's as a god? Like people blessed by him, will be possibly be able to access it? Kind of far fetched since he's the source of it, but it would be fun imo.

Man am I hyped for the prima event, I'm hoping our boy runs in there wrecking the other prodigies from the rest of the multiverse. Still a bit miffed that dragon girl really thinks she's gonna show jake what's what when it comes to true dragons, maybe could have before B grade but now there isn't no way she's coming out on top but that heart soul lady will probably be a problem especially with the Dao father keeping an eye on Jake. Still think those ambushers were either working with or for the Dao father since he's the only one with a big enough force and secrecy to pull it off plus if anyone can use oblivion it would be the guy whose all about concepts.

We will see Primeval elixirs, potions, and poison before the mushroom world wonder visites. Primeval mushroom bane poison will be a good way too brake the wonder secrets.

Thanks for the chapter! I know Irin said the testing dungeon would only be for his own ego, but it was probably the best assessment tool Jake’s encountered, and he could probably get the judges inside to act as guides and teachers, based on how they acted the first time. Why wouldn’t he be using those dungeons constantly? Or getting help from whatever high level gods those judges became?

I hope these skill upgrades are quick or there are some time skips. I was also looking forward to getting concepts from meditation and using upgraded pallet on something other than the desolation core, unless he gets desolation powers from it.

Maybe if Jake does the evolution in front of the Gates of Enlightenment the level might become "Sacred" - along with gaining a deeper "concept" of Purification. Which would assist all Jake's alchemy i.e. Elixers, Potions, Poison - including Bane Poisons.

well, taking in consideration he had ways to achieve what purification could potentially do if he upgraded it in the past, it could make it harder to actually upgrade it for something he could really need later on(the more one adds to a skill, the harder it becomes to add something else to it, so its always better to have skill specializated on a specific task), so it was wise(or forgetfull on his case) to not upgrade it until he needed it

Don't forget that Jake has that full garden still growing under Nevermore time dilatation effects he received as a prize. They might be highly evolved plants and mushrooms now possibly even B Grade.

To be fair, I like the relationship parts, and all interactions of Jake with others are very well written and feel relatable and entertaining. However, it’s still a litRPG, so a story that revolves around grinding and growing. And I am all here for the alchemy sessions and all the background lore. I am really enjoying the depths to which the mechanics are developed

Tyftc, it only took jake hundreds of years, 6 grades and experimentation with a new skill to think upgrading Alchemists Purification might be useful now. Pretty quick considering I thought we'd be waiting 4 or 5 digit years before he cared about it.
