Wild guess: What if this whole simulation test thingy was used to sort out intruders, that managed to infiltrate the 93rd universe. I’m thinking of this secret organisation. Maybe they use some sort of magic to “revive” people as puppets (which is why people though dead are reappearing as part of them) and this test was able to filter them out as they don’t have enough sapience/self-awareness in them to realize what it means to be in a simulation. The system knows this and tries to prevent them to taking over the Prima Seat.

So, the entire station is a simulation. That’s why they’ve seen no one else. And they have to find their way out of the simulation to reach the Garden to claim their seats. Well, William certainly picked one way. And dammit…tomorrow is Friday!

I bet, they all got seperated to their own simulations, and william just realized hes with simulated group, so he attacked them to claim his seat. And theybwill do the same in their own simulations
