Hey Patrons! If you've seen my latest video, you know that I'm offering one of these excellent clamp kits to one of you. All you need to do is tell me what this fictional part is for (see below). THIS IS NOT A REAL PART FOR ANYTHING. Think of it like a photo caption contest. Sample answers:
"Leprecaun Go Kart driveshaft"
"Pin for retaining Sprocket in a cat-shaped jig for toothbrushing"
My favorite answer will win the kit!
ENTER THIS CONTEST BY POSTING YOUR ANSWER AS A COMMENT ON THIS POST! If you comment, you are entered to win, and winner is chosen by me.
The winner will be chosen by me at 6pm PST on May 7th, 2021 (one week after part 2 of this series airs). Have fun! I hope someone will enjoy this super awesome kit.

For the curious, here's how that part was made. It's aluminum, and I squared up the sides, then put it in the four-jaw chuck in the lathe and turned the "pin" area. Then it was fixed in a V-block in the mill vise, and I used a corner-rounding end mill on the back four edges to create that effect.

A 7 grammeter vise gasket alignment pin allows for the effective ingratiation of a quaternion based Skoshometer. By aligning the viscous sublayer of the hydraulic mandible to the retrograde structure, a greater visual field normally limited to Old Tony's forearms can be acquired.

This is a mobile toe-stubbing stop. And it’s a pricier one, because the cheaper ones have the sharp corners. Nice!
